Real Estate Development
The Real Estate Development degree (a Major in Entrepreneurship with an Emphasis in Real Estate) is designed for students interested in pursing a career in property development or managing their own real estate company.
A Major in Economics with an Emphasis in Real Estate requires 21 hours beyond the College of Business core as follows:
Entre. 420 - Developing a New Venture Marketing Plan
3 hours
Entre. 620 - Growing and Managing an Entrepreneurial Firm
3 hours
Entre. 668 - Developing a Successful Business Plan
3 hours
Electives (3 hours) -
One course selected from among upper-division courses approved by the Entrepreneurship Program and/or the Real Estate Program. Students are strongly encouraged to use an internship or coop to satisfy this elective.
