Real Estate 310 - Principles of Real Estate (3 credit hours)

Principles of Real Estate provides a broad introduction to real estate markets and decision making. Topics covered include real estate development and investment analysis, corporate real estate decision making, the legal and physical characteristics of real estate, mortgage finance, agency, and appraisal. This course is required for all students wishing to obtain an emphasis in real estate, and is also an excellent stand alone course that provides all students with a better appreciation and understanding of the real estate industry.

This course has been approved by the Kansas Real Estate Commission to meet the pre-licensing requirements for a salesperson's license.

Prerequisite: Junior standing
